Client and her minor daughter were victims of domestic violence by a family member and reported a long history of family abuse. Carol Chumney successfully obtained an Order of Protection for Client and her daughter after a hearing before a Magistrate. Subsequently, some of Client’s family members were indicted by a federal grand jury as part of a massive nationwide investigation of one of the most violent Mexican drug cartels.
Client received citation from the environmental court for having too many dogs on his residential premises. Carol Chumney negotiated a plea bargain where over a period of months Client relocated his pets to property in the country.
